Intelligent Safety Mechanisms

Before programming, the New Genius automatically verifies the file size and checksum integrity. Should the programming process be interrupted – for example, by an accidentally disconnected cable – the device independently restores communication and automatically completes the operation. Detailed on-screen instructions guide the user step by step through the entire process, minimizing the risk of operator error.

Broad Vehicle Coverage and Protocol Support

The New Genius supports CAN-BUS, K/L-Line (KWP), and J1850 communication protocols, covering a comprehensive range of vehicles: cars, motorcycles, light commercial vehicles (LCV), trucks, agricultural machinery, and marine vessels. Dimsport supplies the device with a standard OBDII connector; where this is not available, an additional selection of dedicated connectors enables programming via the diagnostic socket.
