Three Modes – One Device

The New Trasdata combines three operating modes in a single device, delivering maximum operational versatility. In BENCH mode, a direct connection is made to the ECU connector without needing to open the control unit – precise instructions in the supplied manuals guide users through every step. In OPEN mode, the connection to the ECU board is established via BDM, BOOT, JTAG, NBD, or BAM using adapters – without any soldering or desoldering work. Additionally, the E-GPT adapter enables communication in Bench mode with certain ECU models without connecting directly to the ECU.

Overcoming Anti-Tuning Protection

When an ECU microprocessor is equipped with an "anti-tuning" feature that blocks serial OBD programming, the New Trasdata creates a software patch that restores OBDII communication. This significantly expands the range of vehicles that can be processed via the New Genius over OBDII.

Complete Access to ECU Contents

The New Trasdata enables reading and programming of the entire ECU content: microprocessor (CPU), flash EPROM, and serial EEPROM. After the initial readout, the original ECU content can be restored at any time – even in the event of a blockage. This ensures a complete backup is always available. Autonomous checksum recalculations guarantee that the engine operates under normal conditions after any modification.

No Soldering Required

All operations can be performed without any physical soldering or desoldering. A metal positioning frame with specific terminal adapters creates the connection between the ECU board and the tool. In certain cases, reading and writing operations can even be carried out without opening the control unit at all.

Broad Microprocessor Support

The New Trasdata supports an extensive list of microprocessors, including Motorola MPC5xx and MC68xxx (BDM), Motorola MPC55xx (JTAG), Renesas SH705x (AUD/BOOT), Mitsubishi MH72xx/MH82xx (BOOT), Infineon Tricore (BOOT), ST Microelectronics ST10xxx (BOOT), Motorola HC12 (BDM), and Renesas M32R (BOOT). The protocol list is continuously expanded through regular updates.

Tuning-Specific Functions

Functions specifically developed for the tuning sector – such as complete ECU firmware readout or automatic identification of engine maps and important additional parameters, even when located across different components of the control unit – confirm the New Trasdata as one of the leading tools on the market for bench operations.
