Original Ross-Tech® VCDS®, Wireless with the HEX-NET® Diagnostic Adapter
VCDS® is a Windows-based diagnostic software. In combination with the Ross-Tech® HEX-NET®, it opens the door to Workshop 4.0. This wireless (WiFi) diagnostic adapter of the latest generation can easily be integrated into an existing workshop WiFi network, allowing access to the vehicle from any computer on the network. If no WiFi network is available, the HEX-NET® can be configured as a router at the push of a button, allowing any WiFi-capable device to connect (even on the go).
All vehicles from the Volkswagen Group (VW, Audi, Seat, Skoda, etc.), from 1992 up to current models, can be diagnosed via K-Line, dual K-Line, and CAN diagnostic lines.
Thanks to the VCDS-Mobile® app (English only, limited functionality, OS-independent), recording of live data during test drives is also possible — compatible with mobile WiFi-enabled devices that have a web browser, such as iPad, iPhone, Windows Phone, Blackberry, Android smartphones, and more.
The Ross-Tech® HEX-NET® is available in 2 different VIN variants:
10 VINs – for enthusiasts, allows diagnostics on up to 10 different vehicles
Unlimited VINs – for workshops and diagnostic professionals, allows diagnostics on an unlimited number of different vehicles
10 VIN adapters can be upgraded (for a fee) to the unlimited version if needed.
Note: The diagnostic interface can be used up to 10 times before free registration is required!
